After more that a decade designing city and country homes in Oslo and London, I have fallen in love with stories of lived life, traditional handcraft, inherited belongings, antiques and a personal touch of a home. My aim is to create spaces that work best for their purpose and for the people living there, and I do believe that aesthetic and practicality go happily hand in hand.
Working from a home Studio in London HA Interior design focus on antiques and vintage textiles as well as furniture carefully sourced from Europe and beyond. Mixing old treasures into a contemporary home, and focusing on already existing interiors is important to create a home that tells a unique story. Embracing the existing, vintage and antique is no doubt the path to follow contributing to a more sustainable behaviour, and my aim is to share this using my design aesthetic. I am now working on a theme of unique items which will be showcased in “The House Edit”, a room for room house tour following my move into a new home in London.
